One thing Cleveland is known for is its amazing summers. The weather isn’t crazy humid like it is down south, and it surprisingly not as cloudy in the summer as it is the rest of the year. In addition, Lake Erie and the park along the lake are a great way to enjoy these summers. They’re also the perfect choices as locations for engagement sessions! One of these parks in Edgewater Park just west of Downtown Cleveland. For couples, an Edgewater Park engagement session is place of choice as it provides a stunning background with its infamous willow tree, and of course Lake Erie.
If I haven’t said it already, I love it when couples incorporate their pets into their sessions. I’m a huge dog person and totally get how they’re part of the family, so why not include them! It makes the session so fun plus you’ll have some amazing photos of your family to cherish for years!
Once we finished up shooting the first part of their Edgewater Park engagement session, Sarah and Max had the great idea to go to some local Cleveland neighborhoods to wrap up their session. Our first stop was to a bar/restaurant in Ohio City to grab some quick shots of them enjoying a cocktail together. I love doing photos like these because it provides a really cool, genuine variety of photos to their session.
We completed Sarah and Max’s engagement at one of the Cleveland script signs in Tremont, another nearby Cleveland neighborhood. The sign is located in an area that overlooks the city. So for any couples who are Cleveland lovers, these locations are the perfect spot to incorporate the city. As you can see in the photos, Sarah and Max absolutely crushed the assignment! They were such a joy to work with, and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year at one of my favorite wedding venues, The Club at Hillbrook. Enjoy!
