There’s something truly magical about photographing couples who are effortlessly themselves in front of the camera—and Marianne and Mason were exactly that for their engagement session in Akron, Ohio. From the very first frame, it was clear how deeply connected they are, making my job incredibly easy and so much fun. Their laughter, quiet moments, and natural chemistry made this session one to remember.

We chose Seiberling Nature Realm in Akron, Ohio for their engagement photos, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. The winding trails, tall grasses, and peaceful wooded paths offered the ideal backdrop for capturing their story. The golden hour light poured in with this soft, creamy glow that wrapped them in warmth and made every image feel timeless and romantic. The way the sun filtered through the trees added a dreamy, almost ethereal touch to the entire shoot.

What I loved most about this session was how Marianne and Mason just leaned into the moment. Whether they were walking hand in hand through down the paths or sharing a quiet glance as the sun dipped lower in the sky, every photo felt genuine and full of heart. They laughed easily, had fun, and never once hesitated to be fully present with one another. Their comfort with each other—and in front of the lens—turned simple moments into something extraordinary.

I’m so excited for Marianne and Mason as they head toward their big day, and I feel lucky to have been able to capture this sweet season in their lives.
