This March, I had the absolute honor of photographing Allison and Elayna’s wedding at the Marble Room in Cleveland, Ohio! One of my all-time favorite restaurants in the city, the Marble Room is my go-to for special occasions (emphasis on special—lol). If you’ve never been, it’s this grand, 1920s bank lobby turned upscale steakhouse that just radiates elegance. So when Allison and Elayna reached out and told me their intimate reception was going to take place there, I was instantly thrilled at the chance to capture such a meaningful day in such a stunning space.
Their wedding day was truly a dream to photograph. From the string quartet that played during the processional to the warm glow of their candlelit reception, every detail felt intentional and magical. Before the ceremony, Allison and Elayna shared the sweetest first look, exchanging heartfelt vows and embracing in such a beautiful, quiet moment. We then headed to the Cleveland Museum of Art for portraits, spending most of our time in the breathtaking atrium. It was still pretty chilly outside—March in Ohio never disappoints—so the airy, light-filled atrium gave us the perfect indoor backdrop to stay warm while capturing some truly timeless images.
The ceremony itself was intimate and full of emotion. Surrounded by just their closest family and friends, Allison and Elayna stood at the bottom of a grand staircase as the quartet played in the background. You could feel the love in the room—it was quiet, sacred, and deeply personal. After the ceremony, guests were welcomed into the Marble Room for a cozy, candlelit dinner that felt more like a private dinner party than a traditional wedding reception. The space was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and so many meaningful moments between the couple and their loved ones. Every detail—from the moody lighting to the elegant floral arrangements—added to the warmth and intimacy of the evening. It was one of those weddings that reminds you how powerful and beautiful love really is.
